I know summer is approaching, and you’re thinking, ‘why is she blogging about this Acne Studios Hooded Down Coat right now?’ one reason. It’s never too early to shop for the upcoming seasons. My mother always told me that if you see something that you like, buy it right away, especially if it’s in the color navy blue. This is because you don’t see many articles of clothing produced in that particular color. Now I’m not advising you to spend the remaining balance of your savings on clothes, but if there is something that you like and feel you can’t live without, you should buy it, regardless of whether or not you have somewhere to wear it to at that time. Now you’ll be prepared when you do. And that is why this Acne Studios Hooded Down Coat made it to my fashion recommendations list in the middle of June.
How do you select a down coat?
For starters, you need a warm down coat that is also light. You don’t want a heavy jacket that weighs you down as you go to the supermarket or even participate in a snow fight. Oh, what memories! The filling of this hooded down coat is 90% duck down and 10% duck feathers. Ducks are smaller than geese, so the duck feather clusters are smaller. This means that the jacket should be pretty light. But note, being light doesn’t necessarily mean that the coat won’t be warm.
This jacket also comes equipped with a drawstring hood. In my opinion, a hood is crucial on all winter coats. It also has a drawstring waist and a double-sided zipper, which is a feature I love a lot on my down coat that I currently on.

How I’d Wear It: Although I love down coats, this is not one that I’d wear daily. I love my full-length North Face down coat, I will never let her go. That will forever be my everyday winter coat, But on occasion, I’d wear this Acne Studios Hooded Down Coat with my uggs or North Face boots.
As always, thanks for reading, and be sure to share, like, and comment on this post! Let me know how you’d rock this down coat! ~ Sincerely, Brooke Madison
