There is only one word to describe this look – Beautiful. I love this outfit. And I love that the designer chose to pair the chartreuse colored top with this electric blue skirt. It’s so pretty. I came across Kai Collective while browsing a list of black-owned businesses in honor of Juneteenth. When I visited their website, it was clear that their designs were worth mentioning and supporting. Kai Collective is a London based womenswear brand that was established by Kisayo Lounge in 2016. Most of her designs consist of puffed sleeves and vibrant colors. But of all, the Kai Collective Claudie Top + Xyla Maxi Skirt are my favorites.
This Xyla maxi skirt is gorgeous.
The electric blue is exquisite, although the skirt also comes in other colors. But the velvet material, the color, and its ruched design makes this the ultimate, sexy maxi skirt. This outfit is perfect for a banquet, especially the skirt. It is also suitable for a wedding, but you wouldn’t want to upstage the bride on her special day. The Claudie top, however, can be dressed up, as well as dressed down. The top can be worn in multiple settings and in various ways, such as being paired with jeans.

How I’d Wear It: I have to reiterate how much I love this outfit, especially the skirt. I would have never thought to pair these two colors together, and if I didn’t see it myself, I would swear the colors wouldn’t work. But I stand corrected, as the colors mesh perfectly. I would wear the Xyla Skirt the Claudie top in rust or even the cream color. I would pair the outfit with clear heels or with some crystal-embellished sandals. Also, this outfit can be worn with the Zara Mini Satin bag, depending on which colors of the top and skirt you wear.
As always, thanks for reading, and be sure to share, like, and comment on this post! Let me know how you’d rock this outfit!
