These are one of those types of dresses that, even if it’s not your style, you should still make the purchase. You guys know what I mean. We all have our style. But we still own a few items that we thought were cute, but it doesn’t really look like us, but you bought it anyway. Well, its time to let that go, not the item, but your fear. Because that’s what it is. It’s the fear of being outside of our comfort zone. And this Self-Portrait Lace Mini Dress is the dress that will do just that. It allows you to wear something that you aren’t used to wearing.
Last week, while creating the “Style of the Week – Lace” post, I discovered this incredible brand, Self-Portrait Studio. I was already planning on using two of their dresses in that post, so when I found another, I decided to keep it for this one. The majority of the dresses on their website consists of lace/mesh designs, and this Self-Portrait Lace Mini Dress also falls into that category. In case some of you were wondering, this dress consists of nude-colored lining. So despite how it appears in the photos, you wouldn’t see any undergarments peeking the dress. This lace mini dress has a heart design throughout, as well as short sleeves and a high neck.

How I’d Wear It: For some reason, I can only picture myself wearing this Lace Mini Dress dress with a pair of white thigh-high boots. I don’t know why, but that’s all I can envision. Maybe some satin boots, like the Balenciaga ones. Also, I would wear a mini purse, something like the Jacquemus Le Micro Vanity Bag.
As always, thanks for reading, and be sure to share, like, and comment on this post! Let me know how you’d wear this dress!
